We understand coming to a church for the first time can be a very intimidating thing to do. You will be joining a family who already has connections with each other and have built friendships. But don’t worry, the Ushers will be on hand to make you feel welcome.

Come dressed in whatever you feel comfortable wearing. Many of our members prefer to wear suits and dresses, but please feel free to wear whatever makes you feel comfortable.

Saturdays (Sabbath) at 9:50AM | 11:15AM

We have two main services on a Saturday. The first starts at 9:50, where we take a dive into the bible and explore its themes and key messages. This is held in a classroom-style environment with a leader speaking to a small group. We have multiple adult classes, a youth, and a teen class, then children’s classes separated by age. When you arrive, the Usher will direct you to the relevant class.

The second service is our main family service that starts at 11:15. During this service, the entire family stays together in the main church. Key parts of this service will include our main prayer session, where we invite those who would like to feel closer with others to come and join the speaker at the front. We will also have multiple song services, a time for giving, and even a special story for the children.

On occasions, we will also have an afternoon program.

Feel free to visit us on any Saturday, but if you would like to let us know in advance that you are planning to attend, please do.

We’re really happy that you’re interested in spending your Sabbath here with us at Leicester Central church. We hope to no longer need to call you “new” very soon.
